So, I was playing around a bit with App Volumes 2212 to test Appvolumes on demand and trying to add it to Horizon (check out Age’s blog howto). And was confronted with the following error:

Invalid certificate configured for App Volumes Manager.

But… I just replaced the internal signed certificate for a valid certificate?

The following template was used.

After some troubleshooting I found out that we also need “Client Authentication” as Intended Purpose on the template.

So, creating a new template with Client and Server authentication and issuing a new certicate solves this problem.
